Torque clutch converter for TF-80 / AF40 / AM6 gearbox

Torque clutch, also referred to as a converter, designed for the TF-80 / AF40 / AM6 automatic transmission. The element is located between the engine and the gearbox and is responsible for the transmission of torque through the working oil, allowing smooth starting and operation of the gearbox without the classic friction clutch.

Worn or damaged torque converter, Converter lock wear, leaks, runout or contamination can cause vibrations while driving, jerks on start or load changes, slippage, oil overheating, lock-up errors or noise from the engine to gearbox. Before assembly, compare the designation of the box, the type of converter, the diameter, the fastening to the flywheel and the condition of the spline with the dismantled element.
