0AN chain guide

Chain guide for 01J/0AN boxes. It guides the drive chain and damps its vibrations during the transmission.

The worn guide is manifested by noise, chain slapping and the presence of plastic particles in the oil pan. Before assembly, compare the length and execution of the fastening with the element dismantled from the box.

The chain guide is replaced at wear of the sliding layer, body cracks or after detecting excessive play and noise from the pump and shaft drive. The element is replaced with the chain as the used steam accelerates the erasing of the new part. During assembly, the mounting of the guide pins, chain tension and free movement of the tensioner are checked without jamming.
