RAVENOL Transfer Fluid BW 44 is a fully synthetic gear oil on a PAO (poly-alpha-olefin) basis with special additives and inhibitors, for use in electronically controlled active transfer cases (gearboxes). They ensure proper operation and optimum power transmission of the active transfer cases listed below.

Application notes:

RAVENOL Transfer Fluid BW 44 has been developed for use in Borg-Warner BW 44-40 and BW 44-44 transmissions from 2016. RAVENOL Transfer Fluid BW 44 provides stable viscosity, even under the highest loads. It is particularly recommended where a specification in accordance with MB 236.13 is required.

protection against wear, corrosion and foam formation,
well-balanced coefficient of friction,
neutrality towards sealing materials,
