Piston VW010

The piston is designed for 010 / 087 / 089 / 090 boxes. It transmits the oil pressure to the clutch or brake package and is responsible for its activation.

The damaged piston seal is manifested by a clutch slip, delayed switching on and a pressure drop in the system. Before assembly, compare the diameter, height and sealing with the element dismantled from the box.

The replacement is due to the wear of the working surface, damage to the sealing lip or a crack, which is manifested by a pressure drop and clutch slip. Before assembly, the smoothness of the treadmill in the drum is checked, the seals are lubricated with gear oil and the element is inserted without sweep, controlling free movement.
