Vibration damper piston designed for E-clutch package in automatic transmissions ZF 8HP series. This element is an integral part of the clutch package and is responsible for damping the vibrations generated during the engagement and disassembly of the clutch, as well as for stabilizing the hydraulic pressure acting on the disc package.

A properly functioning vibration damper piston has a direct impact on the smoothness of gear shifting, reduction of hydraulic impacts and the comfort of operation of the entire gearbox. Wear or damage to this component can lead to hard switching, jerks, vibrations of the drive system and accelerated wear of the friction and steel discs in the E clutch package.
